  1. To be clean in body and pure in heart.
  2. To be “Pals Forever” with my dad/daughter.

Hoya Hoya, Wildcat Nation!

The mighty Lakota tribe is dedicated to making a difference this Holiday Season by sponsoring a donation drive during the Father/Daughter dance on December 9th. We have teamed with the Community Resource Center (CRC) in Encinitas to collect toys and clothing for the benefit of low-income households in North County. The CRC’s humble mission is to break the cycle of family violence and reducing the number of hungry and homeless in our community this Holiday Season and every day. The Community Resource Center Holiday Baskets Program has been around for more than 23 years and is in need of our help to provide baskets for more than 1,000 households in need.

The Lakota tribe is requesting the help of the entire Wildcat Nation by asking every father and daughter to bring a new unwrapped toy and/or new or gently used outerwear (coats, sweaters, boots, etc.) to the Father/Daughter dance on Saturday, December 9th.

We know you will make the mighty Wildcat Nation proud and share with your daughter(s) the true spirit of the holiday season by generously contributing.

For more information about the Community Resource Center and the Holiday Baskets Program, please review the attached file. You can also learn more about the CRC at www.crcncc.org.

On behalf of the Lakota tribe, we thank you for your generosity!

Hoya Hoya Dads!

We had a great time at both the pre-camp meeting and at Del Mar Beach. Lakota had another Mighty showing and we’ll recap that campout here on www.MightyLakota.com.

We had a suggestion that might help get to know some of the dads/daughters. Take pictures of the dad/daughter in order to make learning names and faces easier. The “Lakota Pictures” link on the side will take you to Lakota photo albums and one of those albums will be dedicated to current member photos. In order to keep some confidentiality, we will only use first names and indian names on this site.

You will be able to both post comments on the blog as well as upload pics on the photo album. All you need to do is register to get a login.

Let’s give it a try!
